Skepta features on “Gut Genug” remix

Mercury-Prize winning English rapper and producer Skepta has joined German artists KitschKrieg, indie-pop duo Blumengarten and rapper Shirin David on a new remix of “Gut Genug” - the viral tune that stormed the German Singles Chart and became one of the rare German-language songs to chart on the Billboard Global 200 early this year.

The new version features a verse from Skepta, creating a music moment as he continues to build towards the release of his forthcoming album, Folk & Knife. The much anticipated album was slated for an early 2026 release after being delayed in 2024, but fans believe a drop is not far away, following the artist’s confirmation in July that the album is “finished and handed in”. The title connects to a comment made by Skepta’s grandfather to his mother about working hard so eventually they could "eat with a knife and folk”.

Over in Ibiza, Skepta’s Más Tiempo residency is killing it at Hï Ibiza this summer, where he has taken over the Club Room for 23 consecutive Saturdays until 3 October alongside Grammy-winning South African DJ Black Coffee, who is one of the island’s biggest draws in the main Theatre.

Skepta, one of the most influential figures in global rap, has built a multi-disciplinary practice spanning music, fashion and film and Más Tiempo reflects his continued exploration of electronic music and the club.
