Charli XCX releases self-directed film for Music, Fashion, Film

Charli XCX’s Music, Fashion, Film album, officially released on 24th July, is garnering rave reviews. The eighth studio album by the British singer features eleven tracks, including the recently released, ‘Camera’, ‘Wink Wink’, ‘SS26’ and  ‘Rock Music, and received applause for its iconic album cover, shot by Aidan Zamiri, depicting John Cale, Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese.  

Charli XCX is a multidisciplinary artist whose talents extend beyond music. She’s recently expanded her creative practice into film, where she acts, writes, produces and scores projects with directors such as Takashi Miike, Gregg Araki and Cathy Yann. Which is why it comes as no surprise that she has produced a self-directed film to accompany the album (watch it below). There's also a special deluxe box set featuring the album on 180g black vinyl, with three exclusive 7" singles and unreleased B-sides, along with a 48-page companion book of behind-the-scenes photography and collectible art prints wrapped in bespoke embossed packaging.
