Spanish tennis ace Carlos Alcaraz and South Korean actress Hoyeon, both of whom are Louis Vuitton Ambassadors, joined football legends Andrés Iniesta and Mario Kempes, to present the FIFA World Cup 2026 trophy in its official Louis Vuitton Trunk before yesterday’s final between Spain and Argentina. Spain played beautiful football during the match, leaving Argentina with no chances, and won the game in extra time with a final 1-0 score.

Carlos Alcaraz, who has himself won seven Grand Slam singles titles, wore a Louis Vuitton beige silk-cashmere single-breasted suit, a white shirt and beige LV Jazz Loafers, while Hoyeon, who starred in the hit Netflix show Squid Game, sported a Louis Vuitton pink satin braid embroidered dress from the Cruise 2027 Collection with a pair of brown leather Sneakerinas.

The Trophy Trunk was crafted by Louis Vuitton's artisans at the house’s historic workshops in Asnières-sur-Seine, near Paris and is swathed in the Monogram canvas, with a golden "V" – for "Victory" and "Vuitton" – and a partnership logo on the lid. The interior of the trunk is lined in light beige leather.

The House has designed FIFA World Cup Trophy Trunks for the past 16 years, transporting the trophy around the world for the FIFA World Cups in South Africa (2010), Brazil (2014), Russia (2018) and Qatar (2022).
