What will everyone be wearing in Fall 2026? If the runway signalled one standout look, it was sheer – barely-there dressing that at one end of the spectrum expressed daring and voyeurism, and at the other, softness and vulnerability. Lace dresses, skirts and bodysuits created contrast against heavier materials. Transparent pieces were paired with sharp, relaxed-cut tuxedos, which balanced masculine with feminine on runways such as Saint Laurent, while see-through skirts and layers were grounded with heavy coats, faux fur and boots transitioning the look to winter.
