Ed Sheeran spent a month in India recording his eighth studio album Play released back in September, and was so inspired by the country and its rich culture, he quickly followed it with Play – The Remixes EP, a project connecting his unique brand of fusion Pop with the stars of South Asian music. “Symmetry”, one of four remixes on the album, features the Indian singer Karan Aujla, with lyrics in both English and Punjabi.
Sheeran's Loop Stadium Tour, which began on 1st December in Paris, is promoting Play across 58 international venues. Featuring a new stage production, visuals and acoustic moments, the singer is currently in the midst of his Oceania leg of the tour, which covers Australia and New Zealand. His world tour is a year-long extravaganza that is set to conclude in Tampa in the United States on 7th November, 2026.
