Ed Sheeran spent a month in India recording his eighth studio album Play released in September, and was so inspired by the country and its rich culture, he quickly followed this with Play – The Remixes EP, a project connecting his unique brand of fusion Pop with the stars of South Asian music. “Symmetry”, one of four remixes on the album, features the Indian singer Karan Aujla, with lyrics in both English and Punjabi.
Sheeran's Loop Stadium Tour began on 1st December in Paris, which will promote Play across 58 international venues. Featuring a new stage production, visuals and acoustic moments, tickets for the UK and Ireland dates are pretty much sold out but those fortunate enough to be in New York on 12th can grab seats from £264. His world tour is a year-long extravaganza that is set to conclude in Tampa in the United States on 7th November, 2026.
