About Our Journalism

At Culturinse Magazine, we believe culture is more than entertainment—it is the stories we tell, the ideas we share, the places we inhabit and the creative work that shapes how we see the world.

Founded by Jacqueline Daly, Culturinse is an independent online magazine dedicated to thoughtful journalism about art, design, literature, architecture, travel, fashion, food, heritage and contemporary culture. We are interested not only in what is new, but in what is meaningful, enduring and worth paying attention to.

In a fast-moving digital world, we choose to publish with care rather than haste. Our aim is to create articles that readers will return to, whether discovering an emerging creative voice, exploring a historic landmark, or reflecting on the cultural significance of everyday life.

Our Editorial Approach

Every story begins with curiosity.

We commission and publish features that are informed, engaging and carefully researched. Our work includes interviews, essays, reviews, profiles and long-form features that seek to add context rather than simply report events.

Where possible, we draw on first-hand reporting, interviews, reputable research and trusted sources. We aim to present information accurately and fairly, while recognising that cultural subjects often invite interpretation and discussion.

Opinion pieces are clearly presented as such and reflect the views of their individual authors.

Independence

Editorial independence is central to our work.

Our editorial decisions are made without influence from advertisers, sponsors or commercial partners. If content has been sponsored or produced in collaboration with a brand or organisation, we will clearly identify it so that readers understand the nature of the relationship.

We believe trust is earned through transparency.

Accuracy and Corrections

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that our articles are accurate at the time they are published.

If a factual error is brought to our attention, we will investigate it promptly and, where appropriate, update or correct the article. Significant corrections may be acknowledged within the article to maintain transparency with our readers.

If you believe something we have published is inaccurate, please contact us at hello@culturinsemagazine.com.

Reviews

Our reviews are independent editorial opinions.

Receiving review copies, invitations or access to exhibitions, events or products does not guarantee favourable coverage. Reviews are written honestly and reflect the considered judgement of the writer.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

Technology can support the editorial process, but it does not replace editorial judgement.

We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with tasks such as transcription, research support or proofreading. Every article published by Culturinse Magazine is reviewed, edited and approved by a human editor before publication.

Our Contributors

We welcome contributions from writers, photographers, illustrators and other creatives whose work reflects the spirit of the magazine.

We value original reporting, thoughtful analysis and distinctive storytelling. Every submission is considered on its own merits, and publication is based on editorial quality and relevance to our readership.

Our Values

Everything we publish is guided by a commitment to:

  • independence;
  • accuracy;
  • integrity;
  • curiosity;
  • inclusivity;
  • respect for diverse perspectives;
  • thoughtful storytelling;
  • cultural appreciation.

We believe the best journalism does more than inform—it deepens understanding, encourages conversation and celebrates creativity in all its forms.

Looking Ahead

Culturinse Magazine continues to evolve, but our purpose remains the same: to publish journalism that is carefully crafted, intellectually curious and accessible to readers around the world.

We are proud to be an independent publication and grateful to everyone who reads, contributes to and supports our work.
